Standard Constitution for OOSH

Network of Community Activities has developed in consultation with legal advice a constitution for Not for profit incorporated OOSH services. This constitution replaces the standard model rules that some services adopt and is tailored to suit the unique needs of OOSH services.

At present there are a number of services with out of date constitutions. As committees can be seen as negligent if they don't have an up to date constitution the need for the development of a standard constitution for our members is important and ultimately saves time and money for committees. Network will regularly have the constitution reviewed to ensure it is meeting current legislation and pass any recommended resolutions or changes on to our members.

Pay Increase for OOSH Workers - Oct 2008

OOSH workers in NSW have been granted a pay rise that came into effect on the following dates:

For those employed under the Miscellaneous Workers Kindergartens & Child Care Centres (State) Award  - the pay increase was effective from the first pay period on or after 1 September 2008.

For those employed under the NAPSA Award – the pay increase was effective from the first pay period on or after 1 October 2008.

Please note that OOSH workers are paid under the Long Day Care rate.
