I’m currently study via correspondence Bachelor of Education (Primary) and commencing study in Children’s Fitness and Nutrition in Feb as my ultimate goal is to educate children in living a fit and healthy lifestyle and enjoy the benefits of learning. I currently hold First Aid Level 1 & 2 and Working with Children Certificate.
Bree - Lake Macquarie My name is Bree and I would love the opportunity to work as a casual or part time employee in an OOSH center in the Lake Macquarie area. I am currently studying Bachelor of Teaching/Bachelor of Arts (primary) and majoring in PD/H/PE at Newcastle University, and also have my First Aid Certificate. I have 2 years previous experience working in a gym creche looking after children ages 5 weeks - 12 years. I was also an instructor for a kids fitness class, from the ages of 5 - 13 years.
Allira - Newcastle Area I am a final year teaching student, studying a Bachelor of Education (Middle School)/Arts with a History and English focus at Flinders University in Adelaide. My degree will be completed and I will therefore be fully qualified in November of this year. I have worked in Out of School Hours Care services for 6 years in various roles and I am currently working at Edwardstown Primary School as a level 2.1 Children’s Services Professional. I have experience working with children with a variety of special needs, including learning and behavioural problems, psychological difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Downs Syndrome, Williams Syndrome and a variety of health issues. I am moving to the Newcastle area at the end of this year and I will be looking for any qualified before and after school care positions and Assistant Director/Coordinator/ Director positions which are available. In my current position I am responsible for planning and programming, liaising with staff and parents, safe food preparation, assisting with policy and procedure writing and of course working with the children. I have a warm and friendly personality and I easily build relationships with both children and staff. I am a willing and keen employee who is always keen to further my knowledge and skills through Training and Development courses. I am able to work both independently and as a team member, I am also comfortable taking on leadership roles when required. I have BELS First Aid, National Police Clearance, Mandated Notification and I have participated in Asthma First Aid Training. I have been through the Quality Assurance accreditation process twice at different services and this has given me some understanding of the NCAC and OHS&W legislation in South Australia.
Tracy - Central Coast My name is Tracy I live on central coast (San Remo) and I am looking for casual OOSH work. I have Diploma in Children's Services (Centre Based) & Diploma in Children's Services OOSH. I have previously held 2 positions as Centre Co-ordinator (5 years experience). I have just finished a nannying position and am looking to get back into OOSH Care.
