Key Responsibilities
This position is a permanent part time role within the Children’s Services team. You will be responsible for working with the Team Leader and Centre Director on the development, implementation and evaluation of the daily routines, structures and programs across the BSC & ASC programs and Vacation Care program. You will need to be self-motivated, a great communicator, a team player, organised and have effective time management skills and committed to providing quality care, education and fun for school aged children.
Hours
- The position is 5 days per week – Monday - Friday.
- The position will be a minimum of 30hrs per week - After School Care hours – 2.30 – 6.00pm, Before School Care hours – 6.45 – 9.15am. Broken Shift Allowance is paid.
- Vacation Care - as per roster between 7.00am – 6.00pm – up to 38hrs per week during school holidays

Essential Criteria
- Experience working with school aged children. Preferably in an OOSH service

Marton Activity Centre Out Of School Hours Care, run by a volunteer parent committee, is looking for casual staff to work with children aged 5 – 12 years. We are located within the grounds of Marton Public School in Engadine and we provide quality before and after school care during term time.
We are looking for casual staff to be available for the following shifts, depending on the number of bookings:
- Up to two mornings per week 7.00 am to 9.00 am
- Up tothree/ four afternoons per week 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm
We are looking for casual staff who:
- Will be prompt and reliable
- Genuinely enjoy working with children and are enthusiastic
